Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology 2012

The authors show that several derivatives of ganoderic acid – the triterpene in Lingzhi with anti-cancer properties -  induce apoptosis in human cervical cancer cells.  One of them, termed TL TO-A, was most effective, allowing the authors to propose modifications of Lingzhi molecules for even more effective cancer treatment.
